Platform: Building a better tomorrow through Odd Fellowship
Goal: Breaking New Ground Tractor and Plow Grand Master's Pin
1st Ground Breaking Since this is a benevolent society, I propose that the Grand Lodge establish a fund to help its members with their final expenses.
2nd Ground Breaking We should establish a mentoring program to help new incoming officers in each lodge. Teach them what their duties are and work with them so they learn and will be able to pass this along to their successors. All too often we assume that people know what they need to do.
3rd Ground Breaking The Grand Lodge appropriate some funds to help defray the cost of travel for people that will be doing the teaching.
4th Ground Breaking Go out and recruit new members. New members are the life blood of our order. Without them we will die. As members age, life causes them to become less and less active. We need some younger members to take the torch so to speak and run with it.
